Kevin Zhang, a 19-year ICF veteran, has been appointed vice president of public health and data analytics at Rockville, Maryland-based consulting firm DSFederal.
He brings to DSFederal his government health market and analytics experience that includes statistical work, decision modeling and system design, the company said.
“As we are in a transformative time when paradigms for public health information collection, processing and dissemination are shifting, the need for technology-driven innovations to help improve government business processes is ever-increasing. This presents both new challenges and new opportunities for us as solution-providers," Zhang said.

While at ICF, he oversaw disease surveillance projects such as the company work in the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's National Program of Cancer Registries-Cancer Surveillance System.
DSFederal supports federal customers in the areas of research, enterprise information technology, business process management and training.
