Tetra Tech has received a potential seven-year, $68M contract to provide a range of program management and technical services for the Environmental Protection Agency’s Superfund emergency cleanup program.
The company said Tuesday that work under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity award will support the Superfund Technical Assessment and Response Team assigned to EPA’s Region 8 division.
Contract services include contingency plan development, site assessments, field surveys, data management and analytics support for the START V team’s environmental remediation efforts to aid communities impacted by natural and man-made disasters
Tetra Tech will also provide environmental specialists that will work on capturing digital data for collation and analysis by key stakeholders.
Dan Batrack, chairman and CEO of Tetra Tech, said the company intends to build on its prior START program experience as well as its more than 25 years of emergency response and preparedness support expertise as part of the new agreement.
The EPA Superfund program handles environmental cleanup operations to help improve public and environmental health at areas experiencing environmental emergencies such as oil spills and contamination.
