Treasury Issues Cloud Shared Service Support RFI - top government contractors - best government contracting event

The Department of the Treasury has issued a request for information on vendors of Amazon Web Services offerings to support a cloud shared services program.

In the RFI notice posted Wednesday, the department said its Office of the Chief Information Officer built infrastructure in high and moderate Federal Information Security Management Act enclaves that operate within the AWS environment and is exploring cloud service sources for the Workplace Community Cloud program.

The Treasury seeks a potential vendor that can help develop, configure, manage and maintain AWS applications. The department also looks to procure software that can support stack and security apps in the WC2 environment.

The department also wants to know whether a company can offer cloud services from Microsoft‘s Azure suite in addition to those from AWS.

Interested parties can submit input through March 30.

According to the notice, the Treasury plans to buy the services through a firm-fixed-price contract and expects a contractor to comply Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program requirements as part of the contract.
