Lockheed Martin has recognized Cobham’s advanced electronic solutions business as a supplier of cables and other radio frequency interconnect platforms in support of development work on NASA’s Orion spacecraft.
Lockheed visited Cobham’s facility in Exeter, N.H., to extend its appreciation to employees for their involvement in the mission, Cobham said Wednesday.
“It’s important to come to the locations where critical parts are being built and tell these employees first-hand, ‘thank you’ and share with them the exciting activities around Orion and also for Artemis, NASA’s effort to work and live on the Moon,†said Larry Price, Orion deputy program manager at Lockheed’s space business.
Lockheed serves as the prime contractor for the Orion spacecraft, which is designed to transport astronauts to the lunar surface as part of the Artemis program.
