Centurum Information Technology has won a potential five-year, $59.4M contract from the U.S. Navy to modernize and engineer satellite communications systems for five military services and the Department of Homeland Security.
Work covers modernization, technical sustainment engineering and logistics support for integrated and non-integrated satcom platforms both on land and at sea, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific received two proposals for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract via a competitive procurement on the Naval Information Warfare Systems Command e-Commerce Central and FedBizOpps websites.
The period of performance is scheduled to conclude by Nov. 25, 2020, and would extend through Nov. 25, 2024, if all options are exercised.
Locations of work are San Diego, onboard Navy vessels and contractor facilities in New Jersey.
Marlton, N.J.-based Centurum offers systems integration, network, software and communications engineering, cybersecurity, information operations and technical and operations support services to the government sector.
