Cybersecurity firm Acronis SCS has appointed three public sector leaders to serve as new members of the company’s board of directors. The company said Tuesday it added Tom Ridge, Eugene Sullivan and Peter Cleveland to the team to support the delivery of services to clients.
Tom Ridge served as the Department of Homeland Security’s first secretary, following his tenure as the president’s assistant for homeland security. He advocates for reforms in government security policy.
Eugene Sullivan contributed years of military service as a U.S. Army soldier during the Vietnam War and earned a spot on the Army Ranger Hall of Fame. The retired federal judge also formerly served as the National Reconnaissance Office’s general counsel.
Peter Cleveland formerly worked at Intel as deputy general counsel and served as chief of staff for Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif. He holds 30 years of professional experience, having worked on efforts involving technology policy.
