Veritas Technologies and Carahsoft Technology have partnered to release an enterprise cloud data security tool through Amazon Web Services’ Commercial Cloud Services Marketplace.
The Veritas NetBackup platform is designed to secure agencies’ critical data through the creation of a single platform, Carahsoft said Monday.
It streamlines administrative functions and offers optimized workflows and automated file restoration on virtual and physical machines. In addition, NetBackup can duplicate information through on-premise and cloud environments to help optimize disaster recovery approaches.
“Veritas’ addition to the AWS C2S Marketplace allows agencies to deploy NetBackup in a matter of minutes and makes its data protection and disaster recovery capabilities readily available to address the critical missions of the Intelligence Community,†said Bryan Jenkins, director of sales for the Veritas Team at Carahsoft.
