The National Reconaissance Office has opened a formal solicitation for a nine-month, $500K research and development program that seeks "disruptive" concepts and technology platforms.
According to a FedBizOpps notice posted Friday, NRO is soliciting R&D proposals in the areas of apertures, system design, sense-making, remote sensing and communications under the fiscal 2020 Director's Innovation Initiative Program.
July 19 is the deadline for interested U.S companies, educational institutions and nonprofit organizations to propose projects.
The agency posted a broad agency announcement on its Acquisition Resource Center website.
