ECS will vie for task orders to perform oceanographic analyses and studies and conduct applied research and development under the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s five-year, $3B ProTech Oceans Domain contract awarded in January.
The company said Tuesday it will oversee a team of scientists, consultants and engineers to help NOAA address environmental, social and economic pressures on U.S. oceans and coasts under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.
The ProTech Oceans Domain IDIQ includes engineering, operations support, data collection, field sampling and surveys as well as project and program management, capacity building and consulting services.
“We are honored to have this opportunity to continue our partnership with NOAA to protect the earth’s natural resources,†said George Wilson, ECS president and a 2019 Wash100 winner.
“We have assembled some of the nation’s most talented scientists to share resources and expertise in support of the NOAA National Ocean Service mission,†he added.
ECS is one of the 24 companies that won spots on the ProTech Oceans Domain IDIQ.
