Rubrik has introduced a platform designed to help enterprise customers manage and secure data from on-premise information technology infrastructure to a Microsoft cloud environment.
The Rubrik Accelerator for Microsoft Azure offering allows customers to automate processes to move cloud-based information such as backup, recovery and archival schedules, the data management company said Wednesday.
Mike Tornincasa, executive vice president of worldwide sales at Rubrik, said the company offers clients the ability to manage their entire Microsoft investment on a single platform, across on-premises and in public cloud environments.
The new platform also works to help organizations access data through a predictive global search approach.
Accelerator for Microsoft Azure is available through Rubrik and Azure channel partners.
Rubrik noted the offering comes with six months of free Azure access from Microsoft and 12 months of free CloudOn instantiation services.
