The National Institutes of Health looks to replace a motion capture technology that supports research efforts within the functional and applied biomechanics section at the NIH Clinical Center.
A FedBizOpps notice posted Monday says FAB currently uses the platform Vicon Motion Systems built 10 years ago and designed to integrate with custom software and hardware such as force plates, treadmill and electromyography equipment.
NIH is considering issuance of a potential five-year contract to procure a system replacement.
The presolicitation notice does not call for competitive proposals, and intends to use responses as reference upon confirmation to award a contract, the agency noted.
Interested parties can submit input through due Sept. 20.
