Amazon Web Services has introduced a 110-day training program that aims to help public sector partners further develop their skills as they work to support government, nonprofit and education clients in their cloud migration efforts.
AWS said Thursday the Public Sector Partner Transformation Program is a two-phase initiative that seeks to help participants assess their cloud readiness in several business areas under the initial phase.
The second phase involves the development of a tailored action plan to help partners meet their objectives in building and transforming their cloud businesses.
AWS said partners are expected to establish a go-to-market strategy, build up credibility through defined cloud capabilities and achieve eligibility for tools, programs, resources and support following the completion of the program.
Some of the companies that took part in the program include DLT Solutions, Evry and Red Arch Solutions.
