Wayne Rehberger, chief financial officer at Engility, has said the company is targeting mission operations and systems engineering support contracts in the defense, intelligence and space markets that range between $100 million and $500 million, the Washington Business Journal reported Wednesday.
“I think our scale is great for the market that we’re targeting,†he said Wednesday at the Jefferies 2018 Global Industrials Conference in New York.
Rehberger noted that the company would compete for contracts that go beyond its target range if given an opportunity.
The Chantilly, Va.-based government services contractor has reportedly been in discussions with other defense contractors such as CACI International and Science Applications International Corp. over a potential sale.
