Sentient Digital, doing business as Entrust Government Solutions, has won a potential five-year, $49 million contract from the U.S. Navy to help the Military Sealift Command engineer information technology systems.
The Defense Department said Monday the veteran-owned company will assist MSC’s command, control, communications and computer systems division in efforts to sustain technical C4S platforms for the Department of the Navy and the DoD.
Entrust will also help MSC update and ensure IT systems align with the N6 division’s strategic business support plan, technical architecture road maps, and mandates established by the two departments.
MSCÂ received eight offers for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract via an online-based competitive procurement and will obligate $10,000 in fiscal 2018 working capital funds for the initial task order under the IDIQ.
Work will take place in Norfolk, Va., and is scheduled for completion by Aug. 15, 2023.
