The U.S. Navy has completed a two-part assessment of an anti-submarine warfare mission package at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Seneca Lake Detachment’s test facility in New York.

For the first part of the Dockside-1 evaluation period, the Dual-mode ARray Transmitter mission system towed body and its launch-and-recovery assembly parts went through a 10-day test event in Fort Pierce, Fl., the Navy’s Program Executive Office Unmanned and Small Combatants said Monday.

The active array then immersed in an in-water test at Seneca Lake, demonstrating its possible capabilities when placed aboard a littoral combat ship.

Prior to Dockside-1, the DART system was also assessed at Raytheon’s shallow-water site in Portsmouth, R.I.

The technology will be integrated with three additional Raytheon mission modules once it enters the Dockside-2 testing in late 2018.
