Bob Fecteau, a senior vice president and chief information officer at Science Applications International Corp., has been inducted into the CIO magazine’s Hall of Fame in recognition of his leadership and contributions to the technology sector.
Fecteau and 14 technology business executives will be recognized at the three-day CIO 100 Symposium and Awards Ceremony that will kick off on Aug. 13 in Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif., CIO said Tuesday.
IDG Communications’ CIO will also acknowledge the top 100 organizations for their growth efforts through digital innovation.
Fecteau oversees SAIC’s enterprise IT operations, technology investments and operational services delivery efforts in his role.
Prior to SAIC, he held CIO positions at BAE Systems’ intelligence and security sector and the U.S Army Intelligence and Security Command.
Fecteau sits on the board of the CIO magazine’s CIO Executive Council and is an IT leadership and enterprise architecture teacher at Carnegie Mellon University’s Executive Education Program.
He is a recipient of the Defense Department’s 2001 CIO Award for his achievements in the field of information management.
