A Boeing subsidiary has signed a new agreement to distribute parts needed for maintenance, repair and overhaul of General Electric‘s T700 engine.
Aviall will use its worldwide distribution network to deliver localized parts support for civil and military entities employing the T700, Boeing said Thursday.
“GE and Aviall share a strong, strategic relationship, having already signed spares distribution agreements serving our J85, F110, CF6, CFM and CF34 engines,” said Cristina Seda-Hoelle, general manager of GE Aviation’s military customer services arm.
Customers from over 30 countries make use of T700-equipped helicopters for transportation, medical evacuation, air rescue, marine patrol and defense operations.
