DLH Holdings has appointed James Allen, an aerospace and defense industry veteran with more than 40 years of financial management experience, to the company’s board of directors.
DLH said Tuesday he previously held the roles of executive vice president and chief financial officer at Sotera Defense Solutions, then known as Global Defense Technology & Systems.
“[Allen] brings a wealth of financial experience and corporate development-related acumen to our company, and his counsel will be invaluable as we continue to grow the business and improve our long-term financial performance,” said DLH president and CEO Zach Parker.
Allen also served as finance chief at information technology firms Veridian Corp., GRC International and CACI International.
He currently serves on the boards of Applied Research Associates, NCI and Preferred Systems Solutions.
