Parsons is scheduled to present at the Black Hat USA 2016 and DEF CON 24 conferences on information security in Las Vegas during the month of August.
At the Black Hat conference scheduled July 30 through August 4, the company will demonstrate its smart city technology designed to help identify cyber vulnerabilities in critical infrastructures, Parsons said Friday.
“We appreciate the opportunity Black Hat and DEF CON provide to meet with key InfoSec decision-makers and look forward to working with them to address the evolving cyber threat,” said Mary Ann Hopkins, a Parsons group president.
Parsons will also illustrate the impact of cyber attacks on a remotely controlled pipeline valve through an oil and gas demonstration.
At DEF CON scheduled from August 4 to August 7, Parsons will sponsor the second annual Car Hacking Village, where participants will learn about modern vehicle hacking techniques.
