Neel Mehta
Charlie Bengston serves as president of the engineering and aerospace solutions business group at ASRC Federal and brings more than 25 years of satellite and spacecraft mission operations and lifecycle management experience to his role.
He oversees the company’s work with civilian and defense agencies in the applied research, design, development, systems engineering and integration, analysis, test, evaluation and satellite operation areas.
His organization supports customer agencies such as the Defense Department, NASA and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
The 18-year company veteran elevated to his current position in August 2015 after he served as VP of operations at ASRC Federal’s engineering and aerospace solutions unit.
Bengston also previously held the roles of lead systems engineer, project manager, program manager, proposal manager, engineering services director within the company’s aerospace segment.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Maryland.
