Tim Saeger Joins iRobot as Engineering SVP; Colin Angle Comments

Tim Saeger, formerly a vice president and general manager at Bose, has joined iRobot as senior vice president of engineering.

He will start his role Aug. 3 and oversee the company’s development of robotic technologies and product roadmap, iRobot said June 8.

“At Bose, he was responsible for all aspects of product and technology development, and he has led teams responsible for delivering dozens of breakthrough products to the market,” said Colin Angle, chairman and CEO of iRobot.

“Tim has also held senior leadership and engineering positions in product development at Thomson and General Dynamics,” Angle added.
