OGSystems Appoints John Sanders to Board of Directors; Omar Balkissoon Comments

John Sanders, former chief technology officer and assistant administrator for the Office of Security Capabilities at the Transportation Security Administration, has joined the board of directors of OGSystems.

During his tenure at TSA, he led the development, assessment, implementation and maintenance of transportation security systems, OGSystems said Monday.

The co-founder of Reveal Imaging Technologies also directed government affairs and corporate development activities at Science Applications International Corp., PerkinElmer Detection Systems and Quantum Magnetics.

OGSystems CEO Omar Balkissoon said Sanders “brings unique insights from being on both sides of the market from founding and running a successful start up to understanding the delicate activities of the federal government.”

Chantilly, Virginia-based OGSystems works to develop cybersecurity, big data analytics and geospatial intelligence platforms for the defense sector and intelligence community.
