Joe Nicholas serves as vice president and general manager of the intelligence business organization at Parsons Corp.
He spent 26 years at Northrop Grumman, where he most recently directed a signal intelligence systems unit within the company’s information systems subsidiary.
Nicholas has also managed national security support work for the U.S. Defense Department, National Intelligence Agency and U.S. Special Operations Command.
He also served in the Air Force and held engineering and scientific roles to provide assistance to several agency and national space programs.
He was assigned to the National Air Intelligence Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and National Reconnaissance Office before retiring from the Air Force Reserves in 2003 as a lieutenant colonel to join the private sector.
He holds a bachelor of arts degree from University of Virginia, a master of science degree from Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA from George Mason University.
