Stephan Thoma, formerly global director for learning and development at Google, has joined European Leaders as head of the company’s talent development division.
He will oversee an organization that works to help technology firms develop talent and leadership in his new role, European Leaders said Thursday.
“I want to bring the approach to talent development that American tech giants implement so well, and use it to help European tech organisations compete on a global stage,” Thoma said.
He previously served in senior learning and development positions at Cisco, General Electric, NTL and 3Com.
The executive search firm has opened a new global headquarters in London and a regional hub in Berlin.
