Margaret DiVirgilio, senior vice president and chief financial officer at Concurrent Technologies Corp., has received the Howard H. Cork Memorial Award for her work with the National Defense Industrial Association’s procurement division.
The award is given to select members of NDIA’s procurement committee for their contributions to the association, the defense industry and national security agencies, CTC said Wednesday.
DiVirgilio is currently on the NDIA Procurement Executive Committee, a trustee of the NDIA Board of Directors, chair of the Audit Committee and a 12-year member of the contract finance committee.
“She has also given generously of her time to support a number of community organizations to educate people about the field of defense contracting and procurement,” said Ed Sheehan, CTC’s president and chief executive officer.
DiVirgilio is a member and previous president and board member of the Women in Defense national security organization, which is affiliated with NDIA.
She also currently serves in the board of directors at CTC.
