The Maryland Manufacturing Extension Profit, a nonprofit operating in the state of Maryland, has enlisted Ron Hawkins as its new account manager for the Eastern Shore and Anne Arundel County areas operations.
Hawkins will help MD MEP in its goal to grow and strengthen the manufacturing industry in the state, as well as its client base, the nonprofit announced Monday.
Hawkins was most recently the president, chief executive officer and owner of RWHawk LLC, a consulting firm for the U.S. Coast Guard Yard in Baltimore City, Md.
“[Hawkins’] diverse and successful experience in the manufacturing industry will support our business objectives, and will be an integral part to our continued success in maximizing operational excellence and creating opportunities for growth for manufacturers in the state of Maryland,” said Brian Sweeney, MD MEP executive director.
