A Tetra Tech-supported project has won the American Society of Civil Engineers’Â Outstanding Civil Engineering Achievement award for 2014.
The company received the award on March 20 during the Outstanding Projects and Leaders gala in Arlington, Va., the company announced March 21.
Tetra Tech provides support to the $1.1 billion Inner Harbor Navigation Canal Surge Barrier Project under a contract with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
Tetra Tech served as a design subconsultant to the prime contractor of the project as part of a joint venture with Ben C. Gerwick Inc.
The IHNC Surge Barrier project is the largest civil work design-build project in the Army Corps of Engineers’ history, Tetra Tech said.
