An international business school based in Madrid, Spain has chosen to deploy a unified server platform built Cisco in order to update the school’s data processing center.
IE Business School purchased the Cisco Unified Computing System in order to have a centralized computing, network, storage and virtualization setup for the data processing center, Cisco announced Tuesday.
Cisco has also deployed VMware virtualization software and Hitachi storage arrays, which are managed by the Cisco UCS Manager.
The company also implemented a high-density wireless network for more than 500 lecturers to teach to students from more than 90 countries.
