Sean McCarron will serve as vice president of sales at Smartronix and will lead the company’s sales and business development efforts in the commercial cloud computing market.
He was most recently the business development manager at Amazon Web Services, Smartronix announced Tuesday.
Before AWS, the 14-year industry veteran held positions at Microsoft and Esri.
On his appointment, McCarron highlighted Smartronix’s technical experience in enterprise technology and security as the company targets large enterprise customers.
