Salient Federal Solutions Chairman, Co-Founder Ray Oleson Dies

Ray Oleson, co-founder of Salient Federal Solutions and the company’s board chairman since 2009, died on March 3. 

“Oleson was a prized friend and mentor. Our hearts go out to Ray’s family and colleagues in this time of sadness. He will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.” said Bill Parker, Salient chief operating officer, said Friday.

Oleson’s experience in the government contracting industry included leadership roles at SI International, Sperry-Univac, CACI, SCS, SASC, Serco and Frontenac.

The company said donations in honor of Oleson can be made to Hospice Care of the Lowcountry or to The Boys and Girls Club of Hilton Head.
