IBM and Skillsoft will collaborate to develop an enterprise learning for big data training, with the first phase intended help users identify what drives engagement and business outcomes.
IBM Research will contribute its big data and customer experience analytics capabilities fore Skillsoft’s more than 50,000 learning assets, Skillsoft announced Tuesday.
During the second phase, the companies will develop a pilot program based on findings and deployment of big data models.
“Our initial findings show insights that can make the learning experience customized to users’ preferences and drive next generation adaptive learning and integrated development,” said Anshul Sheopuri, an IBM Research manager and IBM master investor
IBM and Skillsoft aim to help businesses analyze which learning experiences are productive and apply that knowledge toward business outcomes as organizations increases their online training offerings to employees.
