Daryl Woodard, CEO of Tulsa, Okla.-based business and managed services provider SageNet, will also serve as chief executive of the recently-acquired Spacenet, a Washington-headquartered network services contractor.
The transaction completed in December 2013 and both companies aim to complete their full integration in mid- to late- 2014, Spacenet announced Monday.
Glenn Katz, outgoing Spacenet CEO, will serve in an advisory role during the transition phase.
Brad Wise, Spacenet senior vice president and general manager of enterprise services, will lead integration efforts in his new role as president of Spacenet.
“From cloud-based services to the proliferation of mobile devices to unified communications, high-speed connectivity now permeates nearly every aspect of our professional and personal lives,†Woodard said.
 SageNet and Spacenet aim to help customers address technology issues related to network speed, reliability and security.
The companies intend to work with clients in areas such as fully-managed network tools and infrastructure, broadband and satellite connections, digital signage, premise security, structured network cabling and unified communications.
