Ella Mae Ortega, formerly vice president of sales and marketing at Fritz & Macziol Asia, has joined Teradata Corp. as country manager for the Philippines, Business World reported Dec. 9.
Ortega will report directly to Peter Hand, area VP of Pacific, South Area and Korea, and be responsible for the company’s sales, professional services and customer management strategies in the Philippines, according to the report.
Ortega told the publication she will aim to help Teradata grow its market reach and unlock business insights from big data for customers.
She most recently led a team of client executives, service architects and sales personnel at F&M in developing and implementing growth plans, the report says.
Before joining F&M, Ortega served as IBM Philippines’ territory manager for general business for 14 years, Business World reports.
