Matt Genz serves as vice president of human resources of DRS Technical Services, a lifecycle telecommunications systems group within DRS Technologies.
He was promoted to the role in January 2009 and is responsible for the recruitment, retention, compensation administration, employee relations, performance management and employee development of the company.
Genz, a three-decade human resources industry veteran joined DRS in 2007 after serving as HR VP at companies such as Tier Technologies, Enterprise Solutions Group and Planning Research Corp.
Genz holds a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech and holds a lifetime certified senior professional in human resources distinction from the Society for Human Resource Management.
DRS TSI has more than 1,500 professional employees with nearly 500 deployed in Europe and Southwest Asia.
