DXC Technology has launched its consumption-based applications security testing service that can identify and address vulnerabilities during the app development lifecycle.
The DXC Applications Security on Demand is based on Micro Focus‘ software and makes DXC the first global provider of the former’s Fortify on Demand app security managed service, DXC said Wednesday.
Applications Security on Demand performs security scanning, auditing and reporting on programming, web-based apps and business apps for iOS and Android devices.
Chris Moyer, DXC vice president and general manager of security services, said the new service is part of DXC’s applications security portfolio designed to help customers predict attacks, mitigate threats, meet compliance requirements and secure data and apps.
The new offering builds on DXC’s partnership with Micro Focus, a member of the DXC Partner Network.
