Fidelis, PacStar Unveil Cyber Platform for Tactical Network Deployments - top government contractors - best government contracting eventFidelis Cybersecurity and Pacific Star Communications have introduced a rugged cybersecurity platform designed to help mobile troops protect in-theater and executive communications and forward operating bases from cyber threats.

The PacStar Tactical Fidelis Cybersecurity System is a compact platform that works to automate threat detection and incident response and is built to meet tactical cyber personnel’s weight, power, size and reliability requirements, Fidelis said Tuesday.

The platform is based on PacStar’s 451 module for hosting sensor and analytics functions and runs on PacStar’s IQ-Core Software, a graphical user interface that works to help networking professionals carry out troubleshooting, management and configuration.

“We’re excited to offer the combination of Fidelis and PacStar technologies to provide automated detection and response to cyber threats to tactical and deployable systems,” said Tim Roddy, vice president of product management and marketing at Fidelis Cybersecurity.

Roddy added that the new cyber system seeks to bridge network security gaps and facilitate operations amid limited resources.

Fidelis and PacStar will demonstrate their cybersecurity offering at the three-day AFCEA West 2018 that is set to kick off Feb. 6 in San Diego, California.
