Synergetics has received new certification that recognizes the company’s compliance with leadership and management quality standards established by the International Organization for Standardization.
The company said Tuesday it transitioned to the ISO 9001:2015 credential after it held the ISO 9001:2008 certification over the past nine years.
Colorado-based Synergetics offers a range of information technology services to federal agencies through the General Services Administration’s 8(a) STARS II and IT Schedule 70 contract vehicles.
The 9001:2015 version of the ISO quality management standard encompass customer focus, engagement of people, leadership, improvement, process approach, evidence-based decision making and relationship management principles.
Synergetics noted it aims to increase the number of its contracts with the federal government with the certification.
