Rubrik has secured Common Criteria Evaluation Assurance Level 2+ certification for a technology platform the company designed to help government customers secure data in cloud environments.
The company said Wednesday its appliances met requirements during an information technology security evaluation that covered developer and independent tests, product lifecycle management and process assessment.
Steve Alfieris, vice president and general manager of Rubrik’s federal government business, said the company aims to help customer agencies manage the security of their data throughout its lifecycle with technology.
The company developed its technology for government users to replicate, archive and backup information while adhering to security requirements for classified, sensitive or personally identifiable information.
Rubrik also offers infrastructure support to government customers of cloud-based platforms such as Microsoft‘s Azure GovCloud and Amazon Web Services‘ GovCloud.
