Cubic‘s global defense segment has won a potential five-year, $61.4 million contract from the U.S. Army to help train the country’s military forces for deployment to combat missions.
Work covers pre-deployment rotational training services to the Joint Readiness Training Center at Fort Polk in Louisiana, the Defense Department said Tuesday.
The Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command received four bids for the cost-plus-fixed-fee contract via an online-based solicitation process.
DoD noted the service branch obligated the full contract amount at the time of award from fiscal 2018 operations and maintenance funds.
Cubic Global Defense is scheduled to finish work by Nov. 24, 2022.
