Cox Construction has won two contracts worth up to $29 million combined to help construct a U.S. Army reserve facility and replace a vehicle maintenance facility for the service branch.
The company will support the design, bid and construction of a 400-member Army Reserve Center in Marimar, California, under a $21.2 million contract, the Defense Department said Thursday.
The Army Corps of Engineers received six bids for the project slated for completion by Nov. 7, 2019.
DoD noted the second contract is worth $7.8 million and covers rebuilding of a facility at Moffett Field, California, that maintains Army vehicles.
Three bids were submitted to the U.S. Property and Fiscal Office on the second project, which is scheduled to be completed Jan. 5, 2019.
