PAE Secures Navy F-5 Maintenance, Logistics Contract Option

PAE has received a one-year, $43.7 contract modification to carry out organizational, intermediate and depot-level maintenance and logistics support for the U.S. Navy‘s F-5F Tiger II and F-5N Freedom Fighter aircraft.

The Defense Department said Monday PAE’s aviation and technical services business will support F-5 aircraft stationed at Naval Air Station Fallon, Nevada; Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Arizona; and NAS Key West, Florida through July 2018.

DoD noted the modification exercises an option under a previously awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.

PAE began work on the potential four-year contract in May 2016 that covers 44 F-5 planes.

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division will obligate $14.6 million at the time of modification award from the Navy Reserve’s fiscal 2017 operations and maintenance funds.
