DTRA Wants Info on Potential Sources of Chemical & Biological Defense Platform - top government contractors - best government contracting eventThe Defense Threat Reduction Agency seeks information on vendors that can maintain and update the agency’s chemical and biological defense platform called Biosurveillance Ecosystem, or BSVE.

DTRA said Thursday in a FedBizOpps notice that respondents should provide information on their capacity to maintain BSVE and upgrade the cloud-based system to support the integration of multiple chemical and biological data sources, tools, algorithms and services.

The agency will also consider alternate systems that are equivalent to the current BSVE.

Respondents should describe their capacity to provide software maintenance; optimize the current BSVE framework; create a next-generation software development kit; expand the current platform to address future threats; and support continued verification, validation and accreditation efforts.

DTRA will accept responses until Aug. 7.
