ClearDATA has joined the Amazon Web Services Public Sector Partner Program in a move to help government and nonprofit healthcare organizations access Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act-compliant cloud platforms.
AWS added ClearDATA to the partner network for the healthcare cloud platform and managed services provider’s ability to help customers store, process, transmit and analyze clinical information on AWS’ cloud environment, ClearDATA said Tuesday.
AWS launched the program during the AWS annual re:Invent 2016 conference held in Las Vegas from Nov. 29 through Dec. 2.
“Many organizations are finding it difficult to house healthcare data and analytics solutions within a traditional IT infrastructure, which requires considerable capital outlay in servers and other equipment, plus continuous security and performance monitoring,†ClearDATA CEO Darin Brannan said.
ClearDATA also unveiled its Dynamic PHI Cloud Platform designed for AWS to help healthcare providers address information security, HIPAA compliance, infrastructure automation and interoperability requirements.
ClearDATA’s cloud platform features a usage-based environment, data sets and analytics workloads, access to application programming interfaces for developers and existing cloud applications on AWS, HITRUST-certified processes and controls and a compliance dashboard.
