The General Services Administration has tasked CACI International to offer deployable intelligence integration, analytical and training services to the Joint Improvised-Threat Defeat Organization under a potential $1.8 billion task order awarded in late October.
CACI said Monday the company will work to integrate systems, technologies and processes to help U.S. joint forces defeat adversarial networks globally as part of JIDO’s Focused Support/Decisive Effort.
The order represents new work for the company’s intelligence services business and the company will record $875.6 million in anticipated spend as an increase to its backlog.
“CACI is committed to this strategic partnership with the Joint Improvised-Threat Defeat Organization and the troops they serve,” said Ken Asbury, CACI president and CEO.
“With nearly 10 years in support of JIDO and its predecessor organizations, we understand the critical nature of this trusted relationship, and we are honored to lead this team of mission-focused experts.”
