The U.S. Air Force ‘s 42nd Contracting Squadron has awarded Vectrus a $20 million contract modification to help the service branch manage operations of the Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, Alabama.
Vectrus said Monday its systems subsidiary will continue to provide day-to-day operations and maintenance services at the air base through May 14, 2017 under the modification.
The company was awarded an initial Maxwell AFB contract in 2009 and previously extended its support work at the installation under a one-year, $62 million “bridge” contract that lasted until May 2016.
