Endeavor Robotics has moved to a 35,000-square-foot facility in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, in an effort to accommodate robot design, development and manufacturing operations.
Sean Bielat, CEO of Endeavor Robotics, said in a statement released Tuesday the new headquarters allowed the firm to keep 100 percent of its staff who build robots designed for use in tactical applications.
The company relocated to the new location nearly a month after it signed a lease agreement for the industrial space with real estate investment firm Calare Properties.
The new facility houses over 100 employees and has laboratories for software and environmental testing, engineering and manufacturing operations, a machine shop for prototyping as well as training and demonstration facilities.
Arlington Capital Partners acquired and renamed iRobot‘s defense and security segment to Endeavor Robotics in April.
