A Woolpert and RS&H joint venture has received a five-year, $9 million contract from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers‘ Louisville district to provide design support services for a nationwide U.S. Air Force Reserve Command construction program.
Woolpert said Friday the contract covers work such as administration, education, assembly, storage, special training and other support spaces along with design of new aircraft maintenance hangars and stand-alone buildings.
“This contract provides another avenue for us to serve our extensive Air Force client base,†said David Ziegman, Woolpert military market director.
“We believe our work with sustainable and energy-saving design solutions, as well as advances in resilient design, will provide the Air Force Reserve Command with high-performance buildings at a low life cycle cost.â€
Woolpert added the contract will expire on July 20, 2021.
