OSIsoft has partnered with Carahsoft to offer public sector organizations the former’s sensor-based data capturing and integration software through the latter’s contracts under the General Services Administration‘s Schedule 70 and NASA‘s Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement V.
The partnership also seeks to identify new methods to help customer agencies achieve their missions with OSISoft’s PI System, the company said Wednesday.
Steven Sarnecki, vice president of the U.S. federal and public sector at OSIsoft, said the PI System will work to help government clients link multiple disparate systems to support their data integration and analysis efforts.
Michael Shrader, vice president of emerging solutions at Carahsoft, said the company will work with its reseller partners to help build up OSISoft’s public sector reach through sales and marketing programs.
PI System is currently installed at more than 19,000 facilities worldwide to support cybersecurity, asset health monitoring, situational awareness, security and energy efficiency operations.
The platform has also been integrated into the U.S. Navy‘s Littoral Combat Ships, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s National Cyber Center of Excellence.
