A team led by Esri has received a task order from the U.S. Navy to provide geographic information system support services under the service branch’s SeaPort Enhanced contract vehicle.
Esri said Monday it will work with nine small businesses to provide GIS services under the Navy’s SeaPort-e indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.
Those companies include Aerial Information Systems, APEX Expert Solutions, Geographic Information Services, Lynker Technologies, Metron, Orca Maritime, Punctuate Systems, T3W Business Solutions and VSolvit.
Esri is one of the 608 companies the Navy added in June to the SeaPort-e contract vehicle in order to compete for task orders in 22 service areas such as software engineering, research and development, simulation and modeling, quality assurance and systems engineering.
SeaPort-e is an electronic platform the service branch uses to procure support services.
