CSC Government Solutions, a subsidiary of technology services contractor CSRA, has been awarded a potential $55.4 million contract modification to continue to provide information technology services for the U.S. Navy’s Naval Education and Training Command.
The modification to the cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract also covers IT support services for all organizations under the service branch’s manpower, personnel, training and education enterprise, the Defense Department said Friday.
The sole-source contract has a base value of $34.1 million and a base term of eight months with five option months and that contract work will occur in Pensacola, Florida, and at various sites across the continental U.S. and worldwide.
The base period is scheduled to run through December and work could continue through May 2017 if all options are exercised, according to DoD.
CSRA started operations in November 2015 after Computer Sciences Corp. completed the merger of its U.S. government services unit with SRA International.
